Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Rose Valley

The 3 days from Marrakech start with a pick-up from your riad/hotel at 9 AM and depart toward Kelaat M’gouna. First, we will cross the famous road of curves known as the Tizi N Tichka pass through crosses the High Atlas Mountains, witnessing the landscapes of the mountains, full of charming Amazigh (Berber) villages.

Along the way, stops will be made to enjoy this fantastic scenery that offers the High Atlas 2260m, in addition, this is one of the best places to enjoy photography. Furthermore, you will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987, several movies were filmed in this fantastic village for example Gladiator, The Man Who Would Be A King, Quen of The Desert, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones.

Afterwards, we continue the journey to Ouarzazate: a city known as the gateway to the desert, in this beautiful town exists the Taourirt Kasbah, the residence of the last Pasha of Marrakech. Then, continue to the town of Kelaat M’Gouna in the Valley of the Roses, where the damascene rose is cultivated and used as a base for producing natural cosmetic products. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in the Valley of Roses, (Distance 315 km approximately 8h).

Day 2: Rose Valley - Todra Gorges - Erg Chebbi Desert

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart toward Merzouga to the desert of Erg Chebbi. Firstly, we will stop to visit the Dades Valley, one of the most beautiful views is the viewpoint of the cliff known as the Brain of the Atlas.

Secondly, a stop will be made in the Todra Gorges where you will have the opportunity to walk through its beautiful canyons, enjoying this wonderful place, full of Berber villages and date palms, a spectacular landscape that will make you fall in love with this part of the Atlas.

After free time for lunch in the village of Tinjdad, we will continue until we reach our destination, the Erg Chebbi desert. There, a new adventure awaits you on camels to spend a night in the heart of the desert and watch one of the best sunsets ever in a place of silence and tranquility. Dinner and overnight in Berber tents in the desert of Erg Chebbi (Distance 330km approx. 6h30m).

Day 3: Erg Chebbi Desert - Fes

Waking up early is an amazing idea to contemplate and marvel at the impressive African sunrise from the dunes. After breakfast, you will return by camel to the hotel, where we will take the 4×4 and leave the desert toward Fez.

Along the way, we will pass through Erfoud and the palm grove of Tafilalet. Moreover, we will pass through the Ziz Valley, the reservoir of Errachidia, and Midelt town where you will have free time for lunch.

Later, you will visit the Cedar Forest in Azrou and Ifran town known as the little Moroccan Switzerland. Finally, we will arrive in Fez at your riad/hotel in the evening.

For example, 1 night of Camel trekking to the middle of the desert, 2 nights or 3 nights, and Quad biking in the dunes, in addition to a 4×4 off-road journey to explore the surrounding of Merzouga Desert such as the Khamlia village which is well known for gnaoua music, and Nomadic families that are still living in a woven tent in the middle of nowhere
