Here is the itinerary details of the 3 days tour from Errachidia to Merzouga Desert:
1st day: Arrival in Errachidia - Merzouga Desert
The journey starts with a pick-up from Moulay Ali Cherif Airport in Errachidia. Then drive south toward Merzouga Desert
2nd day: Nomadic Families - Khamlia Village - Flamingoes Lake
The second day of the journey is dedicated to exploring the surroundings of Merzouga village which is famous for its stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, wild flamingo lake, mines, fossils, and stunning oases.
First, we start the off-road excursion after breakfast toward the black desert where the nomadic families are known for their warm hospitality to guests or strangers, you will have a chance to learn about their traditional way of life, including their customs, crafts, and cuisine.
Furthermore, visit the Kohl mines which is an ancient eye cosmetic to make eyes look more attractive and is used mostly by Berber women, also it was believed to protect the wearer against the sunshine.
Next, our destination will be Khamlia village, known for its lively Gnawa rhythms and melodies of this traditional music, their origins are from Sudan, Mali, and Niger. Plus, visit and stroll in Hassi labied palm grove which is located near the dunes.
Afterward, camel trek into the dunes to experience the serenity of the desert, witness the breathtaking sunset over the dunes and spend a night in a traditional desert camp in the middle of the desert enjoying a magical evening under the stars, as well as savoring a traditional Moroccan dinner, and enjoy the shooting stars view. 3rd day: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Ziz Valley - Errachidia

After breakfast, we leave the Merzouga desert and start the third day toward Rissani to explore the vibrant market and experience the local culture known for its bustling atmosphere, local crafts, and traditional goods.
Then, continue to Erfoud city to visit fossil workshops in Erfoud to see unique fossilized items, including ammonites and trilobites.
Later, head toward Errachidia passing through Ziz Valley and enjoying the panoramic view of the lush palm groves and traditional villages. Finally, the desert tour ends in Errachidia.
