Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

The journey starts with a pick-up from Mohamed V airport in Casablanca, then we will transfer you to your riad or hotel, and depending on your arrival time you can have the opportunity to visit the Hassan 2 Mosque which allows the non-muslims to visit.

Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Volubilis - Fes

In the morning after breakfast, we commence the 2nd day of the tour toward the administrative capital (Rabat) to visit the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.

Then, we continue the tour to explore the important points of Meknes; its name derived from the Mknasa, which was an Amazigh (Berber) tribe, the best-known monument of the city is the 17th-century gate known as “Bab-Mansour”, the most beautiful wall gate in the whole country, its columns were looted from the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. All of Meknes is the result of the will of Sultan Moulay Ismail who in the seventeenth century built the small city founded in the tenth century XI as a camp of the Almoravids.

After visiting the city, on the way we will visit the famous Roman ruins of Volubilis, after this visit we will continue our way to Fes.  Accommodation in a riad/hotel.

Day 3: Fez - Explore the Medina

You will have a free and full day to visit Fez, one of the 4 imperial cities. In Morocco, it is considered the religious and cultural center of the country, Its university is famous for the study of Arabic and the Muslim religion.

You will have time to walk and explore its different neighborhoods, the Mellah (the Jewish quarter), la ville Nouvelle (New Town) French area in the northwest of the city, in addition to Fez el-Bali, the ancient area, within the walls, also famous for the souk of tanners, you can enjoy the crafting process with medieval roots by which they get those bright colors to the leather. Accommodation in Riad/Hotel.

Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we will depart toward the Middle Atlas to visit Ifran, a city known as the Switzerland of Morocco thanks to its alpine-style houses and one of the cleanest cities in the world.

Moreover, the next village will be Azrou “the Rock”, a Berber village known for its handicrafts, carpets, and wood carving, and in the Cedar Forest, we will make a pause to meet the wild monkeys (the macaques of Gibraltar).

After free time for lunch in Midelt; the city of the apple, we head to the Sahara desert passing through the Tizi Talghemt pass or Camel’s Neck pass, at an altitude of 1907 meters. Finally, we will reach the desert to spend the night in Berber tents under a magnificent starry sky in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

Day 5: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Valley of Roses

If there is something that no one can miss is to wake up early to enjoy a sunrise in the desert of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast and taking a cool shower, we leave the desert and continue the journey toward the Valley of Roses passing through Tafilalt, Rissani, Jorf, Touroug, and Tinjdad.

After lunch, we head to the Todra Gorges, one of the places to see two mountains that look like two hands are about to clap.

Later, continue through the beautiful Valley of Dades (fig area) to reach Kelaat M’Gouna – Valley of the Roses – in full splendor during May thanks to the Festival of Roses that takes place every year in this beautiful town. Overnight at the riad/hotel.

Day 6: Valley of Roses - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will leave the Valley of the Roses and head to the Hollywood of Africa, the city of movies all over Morocco, Ouarzazate, where we will stop at the kasbah of Taourit and the film studios of the Atlas, then we will head to Marrakech through Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m) pass, (road of the pastures).

The journey will be made by an alternative road with the option to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, there have been several movies on biblical themes or the life of Jesus. From the top of the village, you can enjoy panoramic views of the entire valley.

Then, we will continue our tour to the capital of the Pasha of Marrakech with a visit to his palace located in Talouet Kasbah. Once visit this Kasbah we will take the road of the curves Tizi N Tichka that offers spectacular panoramic views with lots of colors on the plain of Haouz.
